Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn hosted a dinner to honour two members of the Committee of Permanent Representatives who will soon be completing their posts in Jakarta, namely Ambassador Urawadee Sriphiromya, Permanent Representative (PR) of Thailand to ASEAN, and Ambassador Nguyen Hai Bang, PR of Viet Nam to ASEAN. Ambassador Urawadee presented her Letter of Credentials to the then Secretary-General of ASEAN in August 2021, while Ambassador Bang presented his in February 2021. The Secretary-General expressed his well wishes to both Ambassadors for their future endeavours and assured them of the ASEAN Secretariat’s continued assistance to their respective successors, and to the Missions of Thailand and Viet Nam to ASEAN.
