This evening, Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn had a dinner meeting with members of the ASEAN Committee in Tokyo (ACT) at the Royal Embassy of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Dr Kao updated the ACT on developments in ASEAN and ASEAN-Japan relations and expressed his appreciation for ACT’s continued support in strengthening ASEAN-Japan cooperation, particularly in promoting trade and investment, tourism, and people-to-people exchanges for the benefit of the people in ASEAN and the wider region.
