Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn delivered welcome remarks at the inception launch of the ASEAN-CGIAR Innovate for Food Regional Program (IFRP) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia attended by ASEAN Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry, delegates, and development partners.
The regional program aligns with ASEAN’s aim to increase agricultural productivity and reduce food loss and food waste by leveraging cutting-edge research, technology, and innovation that will enhance the resilience of the agricultural system and improve the capacity of agricultural players to adapt to the evolving needs of the region.
