Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn held a bilateral meeting with the AMAF Chair and Minister of Agriculture and Food Security of Malaysia Datuk Seri Mohamad bin Sabu to personally congratulate Malaysia for successfully hosting the 45th ASEAN Ministers on Agriculture and Forestry (AMAF) Meeting and Related Meetings. They discussed Malaysia’s leadership in formulating the ASEAN’s Post 2025 Vision and Strategic Plan for Cooperation on Food, Agriculture, and Forestry (SP-FAF). The Post-2025 Vision and SP-FAF will serve as the frameworks for various strategic thrusts and action programs that aim for a more competitive, sustainable, inclusive, and resilient FAF sector from 2025.
