Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with the ASEAN Committee in Canberra (ACC), on the margins of the Australia-ASEAN Business Forum 2025, in Adelaide, Australia. SG Dr. Kao thanked the Committee for its contribution towards raising the profile of ASEAN in Australia and enhancing ASEAN-Australia relations, and shared his thoughts on ways to further strengthen ASEAN-Australia cooperation under the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership. SG Dr. Kao encouraged the Committee to continue playing an active role to enhance ASEAN’s visibility to this end.
