Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with the Chair of the ASEAN Economic Ministers’ Meeting (AEM) 2025 and Minister of Investment, Trade and Industry of Malaysia, H.E. Tengku Zafrul Tengku Abdul Aziz, on the margins of the 57th AEM and Related Meetings, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They discussed preparations for the AEM and its series of meetings, including achievements of various agenda under Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 2025, especially the delivery of the Priority Economic Deliverables.
Dr. Kao expressed his appreciation to Malaysia for their excellent arrangements and warm hospitality in hosting these series of Meetings and reaffirmed the ASEAN Secretariat’s commitment to supporting Malaysia in ensuring the successful organisation of the events.
