Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, yesterday met with the Foreign Minister of Chile, H.E. Alberto van Klaveren. The meeting was also joined by the Undersecretary of International Economic Relations of Chile, H.E. Claudia Sanhueza Riveros. Both sides noted the progress of the ASEAN-Chile partnership over the past five years, and discussed ways to further explore the untapped potentials, noting the wide range of opportunities to enhance cooperation, including trade, investment, tourism, digital economy, e-commerce and cybersecurity, Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs), energy and food security, people-to-people exchanges, human resource development, education, youth and sports.
