Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with Sapna Chadha, Google Vice President for Southeast Asia, on the margins of the ASEAN AI Malaysia Summit 2025 in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They discussed how Google can collaborate to advance digital transformation and the potential of artificial intelligence (AI) across the ASEAN region, among others. In particular, Dr. Kao welcomed Google’s contribution in upskilling the workforce and young graduates in ASEAN to meet the skill demands of AI and emerging technologies through public-private partnerships programs.
