Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of Australia, Senator the Honourable Penny Wong in Melbourne, Australia today, ahead of the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit to Commemorate the 50^th Anniversary of ASEAN-Australia Dialogue Relations. At the meeting, Secretary-General Dr. Kao and Foreign Minister Wong exchanged views on ASEAN-Australia relations and regional issues and both sides agreed to continue working closely to further promote the ASEAN-Australia Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in light of the commemoration of the 50^th Anniversary of Dialogue Relations.
