Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today had a bilateral meeting today with H.E. Gobind Singh Deo, Minister of Digital of Malaysia, on the sidelines of the 5th ADGMIN in Bangkok, Thailand. SG Dr. Kao welcomed Malaysia’s proposals for the “Declaration on the Establishment of the ASEAN AI Safety Network” (ASEAN AI SAFE) as a Priority Economic Deliverable (PED) under Malaysia’s ASEAN Chairmanship in 2025, and the “ASEAN Guide on Sustainable Data Centre Development” as an Annual Priority (AP) for ADGMIN in 2025.
