Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with H.E Keiichiro Asao, Minister of Environment of Japan, in Tokyo, Japan. They discussed key accomplishments and priorities to advance the implementation of the ASEAN-Japan Cooperation Initiative: Strategic Program for ASEAN Climate and Environment (SPACE). They also discussed other potential collaboration between ASEAN and Japan for enhancing cooperation to address other emerging issues such as climate change, pollution and biodiversity loss.
