Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with H.E. Hem Vanndy, Minister of Industry, Science, Technology and Innovation of the Kingdom of Cambodia, on the sidelines of his participation in the Cambodia-ASEAN Business Summit 2026, in Phnom Penh. Both sides exchanged views on strengthening ASEAN cooperation in innovation-led growth, industrial transformation, MSMEs development, and the development of a more competitive and resilient regional economy. They also discussed priorities to support industrial upgrading, technology and innovation cooperation, and stronger ASEAN competitiveness amid an evolving global economic landscape.
