On the second day of his working visit to the Republic of Korea, Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn paid a courtesy call on Prime Minister Han Duck-soo. Both sides highlighted the significance of ASEAN-ROK relations and their commitment to further strengthen the partnership for mutual benefits. In particular, Dr Kao expressed appreciation over ROK’s support for ASEAN Community-building efforts and ASEAN Centrality, among others, and looked forward to ROK’s continued support towards the development and promotion of peace, stability, and prosperity in the region.
