Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with the Minister of Tourism, Culture and Arts of Malaysia and the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC) Council Chair for 2025, Dato Sri Tiong King Sing, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, prior to the convening of the Regional Forum to Deepen Stakeholder Awareness and Engagement on the ASCC Strategic Plan. The Meeting exchanged views on the preparations for the upcoming 34th ASCC Council Meeting, which is planned to be held in October 2025 in Malaysia, and discussed the progress of key ASCC priorities for 2025 under the Chairmanship of Malaysia.
