Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, this afternoon met with H.E. Kitte Sangahak Bandith Kun Kim, Senior Minister in Charge of Special Missions, First Vice President of the National Committee for Disaster Management (NCDM) of the Kingdom of Cambodia and Chair of ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Disaster Management (AMMDM) 2025, on the sidelines of the 13th ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Disaster Management (AMMDM) and the 14th Meeting of the Conference of Parties (COP) to the ASEAN Agreement on Disaster Management and Emergency Response (AADMER), in Phnom Penh, Cambodia. They discussed preparations for the 13th AMMDM and related meetings as well as progress and achievements of regional disaster management under AMMDM Chairmanship of Cambodia in 2025, and explored ways to further strengthen ASEAN disaster resilience.
