Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with the Chairperson of the Policy Research Council, Liberal Democratic Party, and Member of the House Representative of Japan, H.E. Tokai Kisaburo. Both sides discussed on the follow-up to the outcomes of the Commemorative Summit for the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN-Japan Cooperation in December 2023, particularly in the areas of economic as well as science, technology, and innovation (STI) cooperation, with a view to further enhancing the ASEAN-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
