Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, exchanged views with the European Commissioner for Crisis Management, Janez Lenarčič, during the 3rd EU Indo-Pacific Ministerial Forum and the 24th ASEAN-EU Ministerial Meeting in Brussels today. Their discussions centred on possible avenues to further bolster cooperation between ASEAN and the EU in the areas of disaster management and humanitarian assistance and improving the capacity of the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (AHA Centre).
