Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with State Minister of Justice of Japan, Komura Masahiro, at the sidelines of the ASEAN Law Forum 2025, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. They discussed the ongoing and future collaboration initiatives between ASEAN and Japan in the field of law and justice, to implement the Joint Statement of the ASEAN-Japan Special Meeting of Justice Ministers (“AJSMJ”), and the ASEAN-Japan Work Plan on Law and Justice endorsed by the ASEAN-Japan Ministers of Justice/Laws at the AJSMJ.
