Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today met with H.E. Kevin Kim, Ambassador of the United States to ASEAN, at a one-on-one luncheon in Jakarta. The meeting provided an opportunity to exchange views on ASEAN–US Dialogue Relations and explore ways to further advance the ASEAN–US Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, including preparations for the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of ASEAN–US Dialogue Relations and the 5th anniversary of the ASEAN–US Comprehensive Strategic Partnership in 2027. The discussion also covered regional and international developments of mutual interest and reaffirmed the shared commitment to strengthening ASEAN–US cooperation in support of regional peace, stability, and prosperity.
