Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr. Kao Kim Hourn today met with Senior Vice President & Regional Managing Director of the US-ASEAN Business Council (US-ABC) Brian McFeeters in Vientiane, Lao PDR. During the meeting, Dr. Kao highlighted the importance of placing sustainability at the forefront of the tourism sector, implementing high standards, showcasing destinations through effective marketing, and investing in education, to shape a prosperous and inclusive future for ASEAN tourism. Ambassador McFeeters shared the latest industry trends and their respective key initiatives to support the region’s recovery in the tourism sector.
