Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, yesterday delivered remarks at a Seminar at the Economic Commission for Latin America and the Caribbean (ECLAC/CEPAL) Headquarters in Santiago as part of his Working Visit to Chile. During the Seminar, SG Dr. Kao highlighted that 14 out of 25 formal partners of ASEAN are member countries of ECLAC/CEPAL. He also shared the common interest that ASEAN has with its partners in North and Latin America. Along this line, SG Dr. Kao highlighted the opportunities to advance cooperation with ASEAN revolving around peace, prosperity, planet, people, partnership and potential for mutual benefits.
