The 26th ASEAN-ROK Summit was held today, in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, and attended by the ASEAN Leaders or their representatives, the President of the Republic of Korea (ROK), and the Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn. The Summit reaffirmed both sides’ commitment to further advancing the ASEAN-ROK Comprehensive Strategic Partnership established last year, and discussed the future direction of cooperation. The Summit also welcomed the new Plan of Action (2026-2030) and looked forward to its effective implementation.
