Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today participated in the 3rd ASEAN–Japan Ministerial Dialogue on Environment and Climate Change (AJMDEC) in Langkawi, Malaysia. Dr. Kao commended the longstanding ASEAN–Japan partnership, welcomed Japan’s support through the Strategic Program for ASEAN Climate and Environment (SPACE), and reaffirmed ASEAN’s commitment to deepening cooperation with Japan in advancing climate resilience, low-carbon development, and sustainable solutions in line with the ASEAN Community Vision 2045.
