Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today participated in the 57th ASEAN Economic Ministers’ (AEM) – 28th ASEAN Investment Area (AIA) Council Meeting in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
The Meeting discussed the latest development of investment and investment policies in the region, with a particular focus on the findings and recommendations of the ASEAN Investment Report 2025 which will be launched later during the ASEAN Business and Investment Summit (ABIS) in October 2025. The Meeting also exchanged views on the presentations from UNESCAP, UNCTAD and ERIA on various dimensions related to investment policies and promotion into ASEAN.
