Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, took part in the ASEAN Foreign Ministers’ Meetings (AMM) held today in Kuala Lumpur. Chaired by Malaysia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, the Honourable Dato’ Seri Utama Haji Mohamad bin Haji Hasan, the Meeting focused on ASEAN’s key priorities under Malaysia’s Chairmanship and preparations for the upcoming 46th ASEAN Summit, 2nd ASEAN Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) Summit and ASEAN-GCC-China Summit. The Foreign Ministers also exchanged views on issues vital to maintaining regional peace, stability, and prosperity for the people of Southeast Asia.
