Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, paid a courtesy call on the Governor-General of the Commonwealth of Australia, The Honorable Sam Mostyn AC, in Canberra, today. The two sides exchanged views on ASEAN-Australia relations and the implementation of the Comprehensive Strategic Partnership following the momentum of the successful convening of the ASEAN-Australia Special Summit to commemorate the 50th Anniversary of ASEAN-Australia Dialogue Relations held in Melbourne earlier this year. SG Dr. Kao also expressed his appreciation for Australia’s continuous support for ASEAN Community building and integration. SG Dr. Kao also had a tour of the Government House of Australia during the call.
