While in Phnom Penh participating in the 11th Plenary Session of the International Parliament for Tolerance and Peace (IPTP), Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, paid a courtesy call on Samdech Akka Moha Sena Padei Techo Hun Sen, President of the Senate of the Kingdom of Cambodia. Dr. Kao took the opportunity to brief Samdech Techo Hun Sen on the latest developments in ASEAN and expressed gratitude for Cambodia’s role in promoting peace and tolerance, and looked forward to working closely together with Cambodia to advance the “Universal Peace Charter: For People and the Planet,” as envisioned by Samdech Techo Hun Sen, which is scheduled to be signed and announced at the 11th IPTP.
