Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, concluded his working visit to Malaysia by paying a courtesy visit on The Honourable Dato’ Seri Anwar Ibrahim, Prime Minister of Malaysia, to discuss key priorities and deliverables as Malaysia prepares to chair ASEAN in 2025. Their discussions centred on shaping a future-ready ASEAN by fostering a more inclusive digital economy, strengthening regional resilience to address future challenges, advancing ASEAN’s Centrality in global affairs, and finalising the ASEAN Community Vision 2045 as a roadmap for the region’s sustainable growth and development in the next 20 years.
