Secretary General of ASEAN Dr. Kao Kim Hourn paid his first courtesy call on the Minister of Defence of Singapore Ng Eng Hen, before the 20^th Shangri-La Dialogue kick-off, today. Both sides discussed the progress of ASEAN’s practical cooperation and external relations under the defence sector.

Dr. Kao commended Singapore’s contributions to the work of the ASEAN Defence Ministers’ Meeting (ADMM), ADMM Plus and looked forward to the launching of the ADMM Cybersecurity and Information Centre of Excellence at Changi Naval Base, Singapore later this year.
