As part of his working visit to the Philippines, Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn paid a courtesy call on the Acting Secretary of Foreign Affairs of the Philippines Ma Theresa P Lazaro today in Manila. They discussed ways to move the ASEAN Community-building efforts forward, including the implementation of the Leaders’ decisions following the conclusion of the 43rd ASEAN Summit and Related Summits the week before in Jakarta. The meeting was followed by a luncheon attended by Ambassadors of the ASEAN Member States in Manila.
