Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today presided over the Project Closing and Handover Ceremony for the 5-Year Implementation Roadmap – Enhancing Cybersecurity of ASEC’s IT and Network Infrastructure, funded through the ASEAN-Korea Cooperation Fund (AKCF), held at the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat. The event marks the conclusion of the ASEAN Secretariat’s cybersecurity project and embarks on a new chapter, one that demands urgency and resolves to strengthen the ASEAN Secretariat’s cybersecurity resilience. The ceremony was attended by Ambassador of Republic of Korea to ASEAN, H.E. Lee Jang-keun, Chargé d’Affaires of Thailand, Ms. Kemawadee Osathaphan, and members of the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN (CPR) as well as staff members of the ASEAN Secretariat.
