This morning, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, received China’s Special Envoy for Climate Change, Mr. Liu Zhenmin. During their meeting, both sides discussed the importance of climate change as well as key accomplishments and priorities to advance the implementation of the Framework of ASEAN-China Environmental Cooperation Strategy & Action Plan 2021-2025. They also explored potential collaborations between ASEAN and China in climate finance and technology transfer, aiming to propel climate action in the region to new heights.
