Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, today welcomed President of the Republic of Peru, H.E. Dina Ercilia Boluarte Zegarra, to the ASEAN Headquarters/ASEAN Secretariat. The visit underscored Peru’s steadfast commitment to engaging and building a stronger relationship with ASEAN building on the existing ASEAN-Peru Development Partnership, which was established in January 2024. The President of Peru and the Secretary-General of ASEAN, together with the Committee of Permanent Representatives to ASEAN (CPR) and the Ambassador of Timor-Leste to ASEAN, also exchanged views on ways to further strengthen ASEAN-Peru relationship.
