On the occasion of the Commemorative Summit for the 50th ASEAN-Japan Friendship and Cooperation today in Tokyo, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, spoke of the past achievements in ASEAN-Japan relation and cooperation and outlined his vision for the ASEAN’s future cooperation with Japan in an interview with Reuters Plus. During his interview, Dr. Kao expressed his hope for a stronger and more meaningful ties between ASEAN and Japan, especially when the two sides just elevated their relations to ASEAN-Japan Comprehensive Strategic Partnership.
