Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn had a breakfast discussion with participants of the International Institute for Strategic Studies (IISS) Southeast Asian Young Leaders Programme 2023 before Day 2 of the 20th Shangri-La Dialogue opened.
Dr Kao shared his perspectives on ASEAN’s key priorities, and briefed the participants on the work currently being carried out in developing the ASEAN Community’s Post-2025 Vision. Dr Kao also underscored the important role of youth in advancing ASEAN integration and community-building.
