At the invitation of the Minister of Information, Culture and Tourism of Lao PDR, Suanesavanh Vignaket, Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr. Kao Kim Hourn will lead the ASEAN Secretariat delegation to attend the Opening Ceremony of the ASEAN Tourism Forum 2024 on 24 January, followed by the 27th Meeting of ASEAN Tourism Ministers (M-ATM) and Related Meetings on 25-26 January, in Vientiane, Lao PDR, under the theme “Quality and Responsible Tourism – Sustaining ASEAN Future.”
Dr. Kao will also take the opportunity to hold bilateral meetings with Ministers and representatives from ASEAN Member States, ASEAN Dialogue Partners, ASEAN Centres and other external parties to discuss ways to further strengthen the tourism sector in the region.
