At the invitation of the President of the World Economic Forum (WEF), Børge Brende, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, will participate in the World Economic Forum Annual Meeting 2025 to be held in Davos-Klosters, Switzerland, on 21-22 January 2025.

SG Dr. Kao is scheduled to speak at the session ‘ASEAN’s Journey Towards Unity: Lessons in Diplomacy and Regional Collaboration,’ and participate in the Informal Gathering of World Economic Leaders. Throughout his stay in Davos-Klosters, SG Dr. Kao will engage in a number of bilateral meetings with ministers and high-level representatives from the governments and private sectors of the ASEAN Member States and that of other external partners of ASEAN, with a view to promoting ASEAN’s public diplomacy, awareness and visibility around the globe.
