At the invitation of the Chairman of Maybank Group and Maybank Foundation Tan Sri Dato’ Sri Zamzamzairani Mohd Isa, Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn will visit Cambodia on 27-28 June to attend the official launch of the Maybank Silk Weaving Training Centre in Siem Reap. The centre is expected to allow more women the opportunity to learn practical weaving skills and attend capacity building trainings to help them improve the quality of their lives. During the visit, Dr Kao is scheduled for a meeting with Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Cambodia Prak Sokhonn and a visit to the ASEAN Regional Mine Action Center in Phnom Penh.
