At the invitation of H.E. Vongsey Vissoth, Permanent Deputy Prime Minister, Minister in Charge of the Office of the Council of Ministers of the Kingdom of Cambodia, and Chairman of the Organizing Committee for the International Conference on Combating Online Scams, Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, will deliver remarks at the High-Level Session of the International Conference on Combating Online Scams, to be held in Phnom Penh, Cambodia, on 23-24 September 2026.
The International Conference is hosted by the Royal Government of the Kingdom of Cambodia, with the co-sponsorship of the Lancang-Mekong Integrated Law Enforcement and Security Cooperation Centre (LMLECC), the United Nations Office on Drugs and Crime Regional Office for Southeast Asia and the Pacific (UNODC-ROSEAP), and the International Criminal Police Organization (INTERPOL). The event seeks to gather ministerial-level and high-level government officials, among other stakeholders. Samdech Moha Borvor Thipadei Hun Manet, Prime Minister of the Kingdom of Cambodia, will preside over the Opening Ceremony of the International Conference.
