At the invitation of Minister of Public Works and Transport of Lao PDR and Chair of ASEAN Transport Ministers for 2023, Ngampasong Muongmany, Secretary-General of ASEAN Dr Kao Kim Hourn will lead the ASEAN Secretariat delegation to attend the 29th ASEAN Transport Ministers (ATM) and Associated Meetings with Dialogue Partners including China, Japan and ROK in Luang Prabang, Lao PDR on 9-10 November.

The 29th ATM will discuss and set policy direction for ASEAN transport cooperation as well as with Dialogue Partners towards facilitating greater connectivity and sustainability of regional transport. For the first time, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn will deliver remarks at the Opening Ceremony of the 29th ATM to promote ASEAN’s visibility. Dr Kao is also scheduled to hold bilateral meetings with ministers from Cambodia, Lao and delegations from ASEAN’s Dialogue Partners.
