Under the able leadership of Indonesia as the ASEAN Chair in 2023, the past year has been pivotal in showcasing the exemplary resilience and adaptability of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (ASEAN), in the face of global uncertainties and emerging challenges. All three ASEAN Community pillars, namely the ASEAN Political-Security Community (APSC), the ASEAN Economic Community (AEC), and the ASEAN Socio-Cultural Community (ASCC), as well as the ASEAN Connectivity have witnessed significant progress and developments to realise the policy thrusts defined by Indonesia's ASEAN Chair under the theme "ASEAN Matters: Epicentrum of Growth."
