The ASEAN Migration Outlook – Second Edition was coordinated by the ASEAN Secretariat under the guidance of the ASEAN Senior Labour Officials Meeting (SLOM) and ASEAN Committee on the Implementation of the ASEAN Declaration on the Protection and Promotion of the Rights of Migrant Workers (ACMW) with the support from the International Organization for Migration (IOM). This was a deliverable of the Action Plan 2018-2025 to implement the ASEAN Consensus on the Protection and Promotion of the Rights of Migrant Workers.

This Outlook explores the climate-migration nexus, through analysing current data availability and gaps, and unpacking the interlinkages between climate and environmental change and different forms of mobility with ASEAN Member States to build awareness and instil a sense of urgency to tackle climate-human mobility issues through policy and programming.
