In this issue, we focus on one of the most defining demographic trends of our time: the rapidly changing age profile within the ASEAN region. ASEAN Member States are collectively experiencing a significant shift towards ageing populations, a phenomenon that presents both unique challenges and compelling opportunities.   ASEAN's proactive stance in response to this demographic transition, as highlighted by the ASEAN Ministerial Meeting on Social Welfare and Development (AMMSWD), is a testament to the region's preparedness for the changes ahead.
