Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, attended the 24th ASEAN-EU Ministerial Meeting in Brussels. In attendance were the Foreign Ministers of ASEAN and EU Member States. The Secretary-General briefed the Ministers on the Overview of the ASEAN-EU Dialogue Relations, the accomplishments of the longstanding partnership between ASEAN and the EU, and underlined the need to maintain the momentum of the notable progress achieved. He also reaffirmed the ASEAN Secretariat’s readiness to facilitate the ASEAN-EU Strategic Partnership and the implementation of the Plan of Action to Implement ASEAN-EU Strategic Partnership 2023-2027.
