The 37th Meeting of the ASEAN Institute for Peace and Reconciliation (ASEAN-IPR) Governing Council discussed the ASEAN-IPR’s 2025 work plan and continued to deliberate key initiatives in advancing regional peacebuilding, including in the areas of cybersecurity, youth engagement, women’s participation in peace processes, and interreligious dialogue, among others. Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Political-Security Community, Dato’ Astanah Abdul Aziz, attended the Meeting on behalf of the Secretary-General of ASEAN as an Ex-Officio member of the Governing Council.
