The Executive Committee of the Southeast Asia Nuclear Weapon-Free Zone (SEANWFZ) Commission convened today in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. In preparation for the SEANWFZ Commission Meeting scheduled on 8 July 2025, the Committee reviewed progress on implementing the Treaty’s Plan of Action. Discussions also continued on Timor-Leste’s accession to the Treaty, as well as the accession of Nuclear Weapon States to the Treaty’s Protocol.
