Co-Chaired by Lao PDR and Malaysia, the 17th Meeting of the HLTF-ACV continued with a Plenary session today, 31 October 2024 in Hoi An, Viet Nam. The HLTF-ACV continued refining the draft APSC Strategic Plan and discussed the way forward.
In line with undertaking a comprehensive, participatory, inclusive and holistic approach throughout this visioning exercise, the HLTF-ACV continues to engage relevant stakeholders. At this Meeting, the HLTF-ACV had an interface with the ASEAN Coordinating Centre for Humanitarian Assistance on disaster management (AHA Centre) and Center for Strategic Studies and International Relations Development (CSSD). On behalf of the Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dato’ Astanah Abdul Aziz, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Political-Security Community, attends the Plenary Session.
