Co-Chaired by Lao PDR and Malaysia, the 18th Meeting of the HLTF-ACV continued with a plenary session held on 22 November 2024 in Singapore. The HLTF-ACV refined the draft APSC Strategic Plan and discussed the way forward. Dato’ Astanah Abdul Aziz, Deputy Secretary-General of ASEAN for ASEAN Political-Security Community, attended the plenary session.
In line with undertaking a comprehensive, participatory, inclusive and holistic approach throughout this visioning exercise, the HLTF-ACV engaged relevant stakeholders. At this Meeting, the HLTF-ACV had an interface with the representatives from the ISEAS-Yusof Ishak Institute (ISEAS), the S. Rajaratnam School of International Studies (RSIS) and the Singapore Institute of International Affairs (SIIA).
