The purpose of this checklist is to assist ASEAN Member States (AMS) to undertake the following actions on a voluntary basis:
• Self-assess the status of their policies and practices to facilitate skills mobility, recognition and development for migrant workers;
• Identify needs and actions for strengthening policies and practices to facilitate skills mobility, recognition and development for migrant workers;
• Monitor progress at a regional level by establishing a baseline and update the checklist on a regular basis.
