Secretary-General of ASEAN, Dr. Kao Kim Hourn, attended the Inauguration Ceremony of the 6th Secretary-General of the ASEAN-Korea Centre (AKC), Kim Jae-shin, in Seoul, ROK, today, and followed by an exclusive dinner with ASEAN Ambassadors in Seoul and representatives from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Korea. SG Dr. Kao congratulated Secretary-General of the AKC on his assumption of office and commended the work of the AKC over the years. He also encouraged the Centre to initiate more activities and programmes to promote cooperation in trade, investment, tourism and cultural exchanges between ASEAN and the ROK.
